I am about to start a project for Psychology where I can not use my cell phone, text, use facebook, myspace, twitter, email (for non-work related use), or use online methods to communicate with somebody. Only using a LAN line or talking face-to-face with somebody is allowed for 48 straight hours. Midterms, College, and a ton of new friends have consumed almost all of my time. I say almost because the rest of my time is being eaten up by halo. Its distracting, and I have come to realize that if I'm at the computer, I'm usually on xfire and coaxed into scrimming with somebody or playing island lol. So I'm going to take a week off. 7 straight days of no Xfire, Halo, this website, or any computer/video games (online or not). You cant quit Halo PC for a week and then run over to your Xbox and play COD4 on xbl.
I am proposing a 7 day challenge to all Halo, Xfire, and r3 forum users (inspired by my current 48 hour challenge): Going 1 straight week without Xfire, Halo PC, Xbox Live, Online Video Games, Video Games, and Gaming forums. See if you can do it. If you "dont want to" or start it and then can't, then you might be addicted to video games. If you aren't addicted, then giving it up for a week should be no problem right? I am pretty sure that not many of the people reading this would be able to. Lets see. So i will see you all in a week. Have fun!

Starts @ 9:00pm PST...so i have a few minutes.
And yeah its called having a life. I go out all the time with friends and such, but i cant recall taking a straight week off in a while. It cant hurt can it?
And i am curious who can/cant do this lol.

Wow arrow is that even a challenge? One, I don't even have a cellphone. My family has one working cellphone between all of us. Second, I can randomly go months without logging onto facebook, myspace, or email. Why do I need to see people liking pointless one word statuses, getting shitface drunk daily, and tyypinggg likee thissssss haha? I suppose I'm horribly disconnected, but so are Alaskan truckers, so I can't complain.
But I still log onto this site. Therefore,

Just because you play in a week doesnt necessarily mean your addicted to video games. ppl usually play evry couple or days or so when they're finished with schoolwork or not with friends.
The Best way to see how addicted people are to computer games is to look on their xfire and see how many hours of games they played this week:D
